Arethusa of Syracuse | 20mm Photo Cab Pendant | Mixed Clay Media Pendants

Celebrated in antiquity as a beautiful sea nymph frolicking with dolphins, Arethusa's image as circulated in the currency of the day has been captured in a glass cabochon and then fixed into my one of a kind original clay pendant settings which has been finger painted to retain a sense of rustic charm. An antique copper bail and rat's tail necklace completes this story. This pendant has been sealed, including the back of the cab prior to setting, however it is not recommended to shower or bathe wearing this piece, as with all jewelry. Simply clean with a soft cloth to restore the shine on the glass as necessary. Comes with a pouch for safekeeping when not in use.
