Recently I rediscovered my neon art from around 2010 - 2014 and was inspired further upon seeing them lit with a blacklight tube I'd sourced online. Then I happened to see some green figs for the first time - ever - in the local greengrocery and the path for my first completed acrylic/mixed media still life painting for 2023 was set! This painting has been worked on with mixed media elements including metal foil, Swarovski crystal and acrylic paint - both regular and "blacklight" neon colours.
